SIMEC Institute of Technology is a research and education-based institution in Bangladesh. It is a project of SIMEC Foundation, established in 2000, as a non-government and non-profitable organization dedicated for social welfare and to maximize educational development in Bangladesh. It provides skill development courses and a platform for conducting interdisciplinary research and consultancy with the generous support and patronage of some top-class academic institutes from across the world. This institute is certified by the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) of the Prime Minister Office of Bangladesh as a skill development and assessment center. It is also approved and registered under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB).
